Swollen Cheek?
It Could Be Parotitis

Have you noticed swelling and pain around your cheek or jaw, especially when eating? It could be parotitis, an inflammation of the parotid salivary gland located near the ears.

Common symptoms may include:

Swelling of the cheek or jaw
Pain or tenderness
Pain that worsens while eating
Fever
Dry mouth or reduced saliva

Parotitis can have different causes, including infections and blockage of the salivary gland. Persistent or significant swelling should be evaluated by an ENT specialist to determine the cause and appropriate treatment.
